The SMS44-18G Video Matrix with Seamless Switching of 4x HDMI Inputs sources to 4x HDMI Outputs. Operating at 18G bandwidth this powerful Matrix is compatible with HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, HDR and will handle all resolutions formats to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4. Thereby it is ideal for Moving images as well as Clear Text content. The built in ‘Video Wall Processor’ enables a video wall to be made from any of its input sources, and in any configuration that you need. Benefitting from totally independent input and output Resolution & Refresh Rate Scaling (up to 4K60). Thus ensuring that all sources will reach all connected Displays with optimum picture quality and at the highest resolution possible.
With instant switching speeds, HDCP control and HDR compatibility, this device will deliver your content smoothly and cleanly. It may be used in both a Matrix and Video Wall mode simultaneously giving maximum flexibility.
A Front Panel Lock for each input or output protects your current configuration. The built-in ‘Test Pattern Generator’ delivers patterns in a choice of colours including Red, Green, Blue, Black ,White, and Checkerboard patterns at various Refresh Rates and Resolutions.
The de-embedded audio outputs can select audio taken from any of the audio inputs or HDMI inputs. A Full IR Matrix is included for control of the source and display devices. SMS-44-18G can be controlled from the Front Panel, RS232, and LAN.

- Seamless 4x4 HDMI Matrix – Seamlessly switch between 4x HDMI 2.0 inputs, to 4x HDMI 2.0 outputs, capable of 4K60 4:4:4 60Hz 18G with programmable, and pre-saved modes. Switching is performed seamlessly with no black between the video transition.
- Video Wall Processor – Video Wall processing settings can be used to create multiple Video Walls using some or all of the 4 HDMI outputs.
- Audio Control – Audio can be embedded via Analogue L/R Audio Inputs. Audio can be de-embedded via Toslink, Analogue L/R RCA jacks, or Balanced Analogue L/R audio.
- Wide Range Scaling – Full Up/Down 4K 18G Scaling with complete control over both resolution and refresh rate, ensuring an optimal image based on the display's capabilities.
- Control Options– Control can be carried out via Front panel buttons, PC App, RS232, TCP/IP or LAN controlled Web GUI.
- Video Tuning – Fine Tuning of the picture is afforded via the ‘PQ’ function which is accessible through the Web GUI.
- EDID Management – This unit has several EDID options and also the ability to utilise any of the onboard pre-set EDIDs settings, which can be fed to any input selectively.
- HDCP Control – Support and management of HDCP ensures compatibility. Convert from HDCP 2.2 down to HDCP 1.4 or simply put the unit into Cascade Mode.
- Test Pattern Generator – Onboard Test Pattern generation per output is included allowing for easy test and set up of all outputs.
